Assessments & Dues
Annual and special assessments are the primary source of funding for the Lakeside Property Owners Association. The information below outlines current assessment amounts, due dates, payment instructions, and important notices for all lot owners.
Why Annual Assessments Matter
Annual assessment payments are important because they provide the funding LPOA relies on to maintain and improve the shared needs of the Lakeside Subdivision. These funds help support responsibilities such as private road maintenance, drainage work, gravel and repair materials, culvert-related work, Association-owned property, administrative expenses, and other approved community needs.
When all lot owners contribute their annual assessment, the Association is better able to plan ahead, address maintenance before problems become more costly, and distribute the financial responsibility fairly among the property owners who benefit from the subdivision's shared infrastructure.
Timely payments also help the Board create more accurate budgets, schedule necessary work, and maintain sufficient funds for both routine maintenance and unexpected repairs. Every payment plays an important role in helping LPOA preserve the community and its shared property for all owners.
Annual Assessment
Annual Amount
$65.00 per lot, per year
Due Date
Due by January 31st of each year
The annual assessment amount is set by the Board of Directors and may be adjusted from year to year. Lot owners will be notified in advance of any changes to the assessment amount.
Special Assessments
The Board has levied a special assessment of $120.00 per lot to cover extraordinary expenses not covered by the annual budget — such as major road repairs, emergency drainage work, or other significant capital expenditures. Special assessments require proper notice to all lot owners and are approved in accordance with the Association's governing documents.
